The update takes a few seconds per switch, does not require a reboot, and does not interrupt traffic forwarding. Impact: We do not expect customer-visible impact. In the unlikely event a switch does not recover cleanly from the update, it will be restored with a power cycle. For switches on GPU interconnect networks, this could temporarily reduce available network bandwidth for the affected nodes until the switch is restored.
