Searches and website operation
We process search text to match services and display results. New analytics records store matching service IDs, result counts and controlled event fields, rather than the free text you enter. Older records may contain search text until retention cleanup is applied. Do not enter passwords, API keys or other sensitive information.
Our application access logs record route categories, status codes, timing and broad traffic classifications, rather than raw IP addresses, complete query strings or full User-Agent values. Network providers still process connection information to deliver the website. Optional country-level ordering uses a local GeoIP database when configured; it does not use GPS or establish your exact location.
To limit abusive requests, the server temporarily keeps a client IPv4 address or IPv6 network prefix and request category in process memory. Inactive entries are reclaimed after 10 minutes during request-driven cleanup. These entries are not added to the database or application access logs.
Optional analytics
Analytics stay off until you accept. If enabled by the operator and accepted on this device, Google Analytics 4 and Umami Cloud receive page views and controlled events to help us understand service queries. We remove query strings and URL fragments from analytics page URLs and do not send free search text, email addresses, subscription tokens or our browser-tab identifier to these services. Their own identifiers and processing remain subject to their policies.
A device preference is stored in localStorage. Accepted first-party analytics use a random identifier in sessionStorage to associate events within a browser tab; this is not a person count or cross-day identity. Google Analytics may use its own cookies after acceptance. You can reject or withdraw analytics and continue using search and subscriptions. Withdrawal stops future optional analytics; it does not remove information already received by external services.

Subscriptions and feedback
Email and Webhook subscriptions are enabled. We process your email address, selected services, language, confirmation and management credentials, and delivery task records to provide the notifications you request. A configured Webhook URL, its secret and signing settings are used only for that subscription. You can manage or unsubscribe through the private links in subscription emails.
Private subscription pages have no optional analytics or scripts. Database email addresses are not encrypted at the application field level; access is restricted by deployment controls. Token hashes are used for confirmation and management, and sensitive queued payloads and Webhook settings are encrypted. Unsubscribing stops notifications, but does not immediately erase every record. Deliberate feedback and service requests are processed to improve the directory.
Purposes and service providers
We use subscription details to provide requested notifications, operational data to run and protect the service, and optional analytics with your permission. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Hosting and database infrastructure, Resend for email, Google Analytics and Umami for accepted analytics, and your configured Webhook receiver process the relevant information. These providers may process data in other countries; Wyoming registration does not mean all processing stays in the United States.
Retention and deletion
Cleanup defaults are 90 days for detailed analytics, 7 days for unconfirmed subscriptions, and 30 days for unsubscribed records and finalized delivery tasks. Expired, used or replaced confirmation records can be removed after 7 days when no delivery task still refers to them. Active confirmed subscriptions remain while in use. Automatic production cleanup has not yet been enabled; older records may remain until cleanup runs. Backups follow separate retention, and deletion must also be applied when restoring an older backup. We do not claim that unsubscribing immediately deletes backup copies.
Your choices and requests
You can change analytics preferences, unsubscribe from notifications, or request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. Available rights and response requirements depend on applicable law. Where consent is used, you can withdraw it for future processing. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority. We assess requests without requiring an account and may verify ownership before disclosing or deleting data.
Notice updates
We update this notice when our data practices change and show the new date here. A new analytics choice will be requested if the purpose materially changes. Public reports and source links are separate from personal subscriber information.
